Frequently Asked Questions
How long does delivery take?
Inkwell calculates the real-world physical distance between you and your pen pal. A letter sent to someone in your own country might arrive in 4 hours, but a letter sent halfway across the globe could take up to 48 hours.
Are my letters private?
Yes. Every letter sent on Inkwell is secured using AES End-to-End Encryption. The letter is locked using a unique key generated between you and your pen pal before it ever leaves your browser. Even our database administrators cannot read your mail.
Why force me to select a real country?
Selecting your actual country allows our matching algorithm to connect you with people from entirely different cultures, and it allows our Geography Engine to accurately calculate the transit time for your letters.
