Inkwell calculates real geographical distance using Haversine mathematics based on sender and recipient coordinates. Letters between nearby writers take ~2 to 6 hours, while letters crossing continents take between 24 and 48 hours.
How does End-to-End Decryption work?
Every letter is encrypted on your device using a shared secret key derived specifically for you and your pen pal. Only you and your pen pal possess the key required to decrypt and read the contents.
How do I get more stamps?
You can claim free daily stamps every 24 hours directly from your Writer's Desk. Higher writer levels grant more stamps per claim.
