Welcome to Inkwell. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. The Spirit of Inkwell

Inkwell is designed for thoughtful, patient communication. By using this service, you agree to engage respectfully with others and honor the "slow mail" philosophy. Harassment, hate speech, or spam will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Inkwell. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the service.

3. Your Letters and Content

You retain all ownership rights to the letters you write. However, by sending a letter, you grant the recipient the right to read and keep that letter within their Inkwell mailbox. Inkwell utilizes end-to-end AES encryption; we cannot and do not read your private correspondence.

4. Stamps and Virtual Currency

"Stamps" are a virtual currency used to send letters on Inkwell. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Inkwell reserves the right to modify the daily stamp allowance or level requirements at any time to maintain a balanced platform economy.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use Inkwell to:

• Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, or abusive.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Attempt to bypass the time-delay mechanics or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Send automated spam or mass-produce letters.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via a wax-sealed letter directly to your Inkwell mailbox.
